About Us

Founded in early 2020, by carpenter and designer, Ben Revill, Warm Wood was born out of a shift in both lifestyle and outlook on life. Having grown up in the most rural. parts of Cornwall, Ben spent the best part of a decade living and working in London, in an industry that rarely allowed him to step back and pause, let alone walk barefoot in the sand and woodlands he once grew up in.

Having honed his design and carpentry skills working on various projects for UK based and overseas clients, and laterally on his own venue, Ben finally made the move back to Cornwall in 2019. From that moment on, health and nature began to take priority once again. Ben had long since known the undeniable benefits of sauna and cold water sea swimming and now he was able to make this experience part of his own wellbeing routine, as well as share it with others.

Along with his friend, Jon, the pair have been designing and prototyping saunas and cabins in their workshop in Helston, following a creative process resulting in two core principles: seamless integration with nature on the outside and the highest quality finish on the inside.

Each sauna is built to live outdoors for a lifetime, to embed itself into its surroundings, therefore you won’t see harsh lines, straight edges or bold colours. In fact, our saunas are clad with the highest quality cedar shingles, with smooth round curves, embodying the trunk of the tree itself. On the inside, sit clean, sharp and poetic lines of wood, drawing your eyeline to the immediate world outside, whether it takes the form of a city skyline or tranquil river.

“Through both his ventures, Warm Wood Saunas and Netil360 Rooftop Saunas he has continually impressed us with his vision, craft and attention to quality and detail.”
